Gap Mercantile to host flintknapping workshop April 9

If you’re interested in learning the primeval skills of making arrowheads (otherwise known as “flintknapping”), then come to Gap Mercantile Saturday), April 9 at 1:00 pm . Regional flintknapping teacher Donny Jones will be teaching basic flintknapping, including abrading stones and running flakes.
Weather permitting, the lessons will be held outdoors in the yard of Gap Mercantile. The lessons are free, and materials to knap that day will be provided.
