Caddo Hills 4th Graders runners-up in state video competition

The Caddo Hills 4th Grade Class found out today that they are runners-up in the Arkansas Digital Learning Day video competition with their video “The Tribal Tour.” Their winning video featured students talking about Native American tribes they found to be interesting.

The competition is sponsored by Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Arkansas O.M.I., Digital Learning Day 2020, EAST Initiative and Arkansas Digital Sandbox.

Caddo Hills seniors Taylor Allen and Nallely Lopez helped the 4th graders construct a video for Digital Learning Day 2020 which showcased essays and crafts the created related to the Native American tribes they chose to study.

Cindy Wilkinson represented the Arkansas Department of Education in presenting a 2nd Place Plaque to the Caddo Hills 4th Graders. She stated that there were over 70 entries from across the state with Caddo Hills finishing second place. Wilkinson shared that she has personal ties to the community. Her parents and grandparents had lived in Norman.
